Ever since we published “The Third Path”, the biggest challenge has been to articulate how to think differently about the way we implement change in education. So often we simply add yet another practice to the ever-growing list of existing practices. The result is stressed students, stressed educators, and little progress. We talk about making systemic change instead, but it’s not always clear what that actually means. This video is my attempt to provide a simple, yet thought-provoking way to differentiate between relatively superficial “linear” change versus the more meaningful and enduring “systemic” approach to change. Cheers!
